Analysis and interpretation

Conducting the manner of analysis the researcher has obtained results at various levels.
 In teaching of grammar according to 80% of the students, teacher uses deductive grammar.
 In method 80% of the students clarified that teacher uses grammar translation method.
 In regards to activities 70% of the students opine that teacher assigns individual work by giving some exercises.
 Asking about sessions for grammar teaching, answer is 1 or 2 period per week, according to 60% of the students.
Conclusion:

It is a survey of the problems seen in the Gujarati medium schools especially at secondary level. The research is well designed and the structure for the research is good enough to understand. The researcher has tried much to collect the essential items for the research. Especially speaking about positions of teachers as a result of the interviews of both teachers as well as students. Grammar teaching still lacks some techniques, activities etc. It is observed that teaching of grammar is more exams oriented than critical aid to learning a language. Teacher has to be active to employ the theories and techniques for making grammar teaching process effective and enjoyable. Teacher is a generator who can generate the curiosity and enthusiasm in students for grammar learning leaving apart the biases of the past.
I would willingly say,
This research is a praiseworthy attempt!
