It is observed that most of learners have poor English but reaching at the secondary level those learners are not in position to communicate through
In this regard there is a concrete reason behind it that students are not thought grammar with well furnished methods and techniques. Because of their teachers never emphasised on grammar. So as a result they are scared of English. It has become their difficulty to learn with grammar. It’s an explicit observation that teachers normally teach grammar exam oriented only. But the present study by Mr.Thakar is attained to analyse the approaches methods techniques etc. employed by the teachers for instructions given in the classroom. Keeping in mind the purpose the practicing teachers have profited through the present guidelines of the study now a days.

The problem:

Generally speaking, at the secondary level in Gujarati medium schools, the textbook lessons are based on grammar items in which the content of lessons is interwoven with several structures. Here in this research the referred problem is about the grammar teaching by teachers in Gujarati medium schools at secondary level which is clearly seen in the title of the dissertation.
